THE second earthquake in as many months has hit the Fylde coast.
The epicentre of the tremor was recorded at Poulton, according to the British Geological Survey (BGS).
Bosses said the 1.5 magnitude earthquake - intensity level 3 - was recorded shortly before 1am yesterday at a shallow depth of 2.5km.
Blackpool was hit by a 2.5 magnitude earthquake on April 1.
The UK experiences about 20 earthquakes a year of a similar magnitude.
